A recent study in the medical journal JAMA Oncology found that patients with low-risk prostate and breast cancers in certain areas of the U.S. are receiving too many imaging tests. Researchers at the New York University School of Medicine evaluated patient data from a Medicare-linked database. The database included 84 hospital regions across the country.
